Okay, I'm Kind of Obsessed with Rachel Zoe

I have a complete obsession with online shopping. Though there's a catch, I don't actually checkout my virtual shopping bag. This seems to be a trend within my group of friends, and I think it begs further explanation. There is something to be said of the instant gratification one feels when placing a virtual item into their cart. Personally, I feel like I own said item immediately and therefore don't even need to physically own it.
When I was a child, I'd see something on TV which appealed. Hurriedly, I'd run to my mom and beg her to buy me what I had just seen. Without thought she'd oblige, knowing I'd never ask for the item again. Either this is a weird pattern in my life or my mom's just trying to make me feel special while recanting this story.
One of my favorite places to shop online is net-a-porter. It's fabulous. The thing is, while I'm at no position in my life to buy an entire shopping cart I've compiled on this website, I could buy a few pieces. But who is that restrictive? Especially when it's pretend!
Currently I have eleven items in my shopping cart, which has been constantly revised since roughly October.  Two of the items in my shopping cart that completely struck me when I saw them [I screamed "DIE," Rachel Zoe style] are the Stella McCartney Wooden Platform Boots, and the Missoni Stripe Knit Beanie.

Even the hat and shoes together, with a simple t-shirt and dark skin-tight jeans/leggings this would look great. That's basically my personal style-- basic garments balanced with standout pieces that garner attention. There's no need to have 1200 awesome and adorned garments on yourself at once, just pick a few and wear em with basics and you're set.
Jeez now I'm liking this look so much I'm thinking about actually checking out my shopping bag! Perhaps this was a bad idea....
